The shortest way is rarely the one you'd choose

A loxodrome — a rhumb line — is the path you sail when you hold one constant bearing. On a chart it draws a clean straight line. On the globe it curves wide, and it is never the shortest distance between two points.

Navigators used it anyway, for six hundred years, because it is the route you can actually steer. That is the whole idea behind Loxaway: the trip worth taking is the one that's yours, not the one an algorithm shortened.

Not a copy of it — the trip itself. Open it, edit it and add to it in airplane mode, in the metro, in a village with one bar of signal. There is no loading screen waiting on a server, and offline is not the paid tier.

Everyone edits, nobody gets overwritten

You move the museum to Tuesday while your friend adds dinner on Wednesday, both of you underground. When the signal comes back, both edits survive. No “last one wins”, no lost afternoon.
