Loxaway Terms

Loxaway

Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and MediaBoxEnt Digital Studio LLC ("we", "us") for using the Loxaway app and this website. By using Loxaway you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

The short version

The app is free. Your trips are yours. Do not use Loxaway to publish other people's private information or anything illegal. We do not guarantee that opening hours, routes or travel requirements shown in the app are correct — always check the official source before you rely on one. Offline access will never be the paid tier.

1. What Loxaway is

A trip planner. It stores your itinerary on your phone, syncs it if you want it synced, lets other people edit the same trip with you, reads booking confirmations you forward to it, and can publish a finished trip as a public guide.

2. Access to your trips

In this version there is no sign-up: access to a trip is held by the device that created it or was invited to it. Two consequences follow, and you should know both before you rely on the app:

Loxaway will add a profile you sign in to, so that the same trip opens on your phone and in your browser. When it does, you become responsible for keeping access to the email address the profile uses, and the first consequence above stops applying — that is the point of it.

3. Price

Loxaway is free to download and use. We expect to charge for optional extras in the future, through Google Play's billing system, and any such extra will say what it costs before you buy it. Nothing that is free today will be put behind a payment retroactively for people who already have it. Offline access is not, and will not become, a paid feature.

4. Your content

Your trips, photos, notes and files stay yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, to move it between your devices and the people you invited, and — if and only if you choose to publish a guide — to display the parts of it that the app copies into that guide, publicly, until you unpublish it.

You agree not to use Loxaway to store or publish:

We can remove a published guide, or stop serving an account's content, if it breaks these rules or the law. We will do that to the public guide, not to your private trip, unless the law requires otherwise.

5. Travel information is not advice

Opening hours, closures, routes, travel times, typical weather, exchange rates, emergency numbers, entry requirements and document expiry warnings are shown as an aid. Some come from what you typed. Some come from free public sources that can be wrong or out of date. Some are calculated estimates.

None of it is a guarantee, and none of it is legal or travel advice. Loxaway never tells you whether you need a visa. Before you rely on any of it — especially anything involving a border, a passport or a vaccination — check the official source.

Booking confirmations read from forwarded emails are interpreted automatically and can be misread. Check what lands in your itinerary against the original confirmation.

6. Partner links

Some links may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you book through one, at no extra cost to you. Links in published guides are marked as sponsored. Your booking is between you and that provider: their terms, their cancellation policy, their responsibility.

7. Availability

Loxaway is built so the app keeps working with no signal, but the parts that need a server — syncing, invitations, published guides, email import — can be interrupted, and we do not promise a level of uptime. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give notice and a way to export your trips.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for missed transport, bookings or opportunities arising from your use of the app. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you use Loxaway as a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer protection law gives you, and these terms do not override them.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Loxaway at any time by deleting your trips and uninstalling the app. We can suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of section 4.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the date at the top and say so in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Loxaway after that means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MediaBoxEnt Digital Studio LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
